Our Core Values

We will be biblical

So Jesus said to the Jews who believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,”
John 8:31

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ
Romans 10:17

We will be prayerful

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God
Philippians 4:6

And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith
Matthew 21:22

We will have integrity

Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil
Matthew 5:37

But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation
James 5:12

We will be authentic

For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body
James 3:2

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
1 John 1:8-9

We will be relational

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and all your strength. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these
Mark 12:30-31

And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did to the least of these my brothers, you did it to me
Matthew 25:40

We will be present

The Gospels
Paul’s Missionary Journeys

We will be active and present in our community, carrying the Gospel forward and reaching people exactly where they are at.

We will be Evangelistic

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Matthew 28:19

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38

We will be joyful

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
Philippians 2:1-2

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones
Proverbs 17:22

  • Worship Through Song:
The songs we sing as we gather on Sunday mornings help shape our understanding of God and the grace that has been shown to us in Jesus Christ.
  • Worship through Preaching:
The preaching of the Word of God shapes and reshapes us by the power of the Holy Spirit. In this we worship as we are shaped into the image of the Son.
  • Worship through Discipleship:
We engage the truth of God’s Word and come to know more of who our God is. The more we learn, the more we love and the more we love, the greater our desire to follow..
  • Worship through Relationships:
Our love of God is made evident in the way we love others. We take worship outside of the church walls and, through godly relationships, live our lives as a proclamation of the Gospel.

  • We believe church is more than a place you go but a family to which you belong.
  • Through Connection Point we want to help you get plugged into our family to serve along side us to the glory of God!
  • We believe every person has been individually gifted to grow the kingdom of God in width through carrying the Gospel and in depth through the local church.
  • Here at Cross Point we believe that we are called to be disciples making disciples. For more information of how you can serve contact our associate pastor Kyle Blankenship.
